That seems rather drastic.  I doubt master is ready to go as it is, 
since we haven't even started another round of bug triage and platform 
testing yet.  It's doutbful that funneling cleanup commits through one 
person will get 1.10 out the door any sooner (unless they reject 
everything. :-D)
