Since everybody is thinking about new cairo features I would like to nag about my two favorite lacking features in cairo: Filters and Blend Modes See for reference previous discussions: <a href="http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/cairo/2007-October/011752.html">http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/cairo/2007-October/011752.html</a> <a href="http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/cairo/2007-August/011312.html">http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/cairo/2007-August/011312.html</a> Blur is especialy useful, both a fast blur (box blur) and a quality blur like gaussian. I see that pixman has a convolution filter that is not exposed in cairo. Where exactly would blur filter code go in cairo/pixman?  so that i can take a look and see if i am able to implement a blur filter myself. Thanks, Gerdus
