Apologies if this has come up before (as I suspect it has).  I need to be able to render text along a path, in the style of the inkscape "Put on Path" function.  I've been spelunking through the vast and sprawling inkscape code for an hour or so, and I haven't been able to figure this one out, so any advice would be enormously appreciated. I'm using pycairo, though any info pertaining to the C api are gratefully accepted as well. Thanks, Kevin
