I have been developing with Java2D for many years and am now looking to switch to Cairo. Does anyone here know of any differences wrt limitations or enhancements between Java2D and Cairo? Does anyone have any experience with both toolkits that could share their thoughts?<BR>

My premilinary feeling is that Java2D provides a more comprehensive set of graphics operations but Cairo may perform better. Any comments?<BR> </body>
