OK, just keep us aware of your progress. Compiling arm neon assembler should 
be quite trivial once you feed it through C preprocessor first and comment out 
.eabi_attribute directives.

In any case, I also have a script which can convert objdump output back into 
compilable assembly source (without all the layers of GNU assembler specific 
macros). It can be tweaked to produce output compatible with any neon capable 
assembler.
