I'd like to add that the Cairo patch doesn't seem to include support for
setting the filtering type in the fontconfig configuration files. It only reads
the value from the X resource database. If this were to to be committed, it'd
probably be a good idea to have that config file support. Someone more familiar
with cairo's font options than me would have to do this.
