Running the Mandriva 2008.0 OS

rpm -qa |grep -i cairo

   libcairo2-1.4.10-1mdv2008.0

Error: Cairo 1.4.10 does not yet support the requested image format:
        Depth: 24
        Alpha mask: 0x00000000
        Red   mask: 0x00ff0000
        Green mask: 0x0000ff00
        Blue  mask: 0x000000ff
