Tested with the master, 1.8.4, origin/1.8 in the git repository and the 1.6.4
from tarball, they all have the same problem.

I notice that, when firefox invode under LC_MESSAGES=en_US.UTF-8, they all
works fine, but under zh_CN.UTF-8, they all fail to get the right render
result.
