Hi,

I applied patch 11071 on cairo 1.4.10 on AIX 52. Build Firefox with the 1.4.10
devel RPM, however Firefox still crashed when started in 8 bit color mode.

Following was the error 

Error: Cairo 1.4.10 does not yet support the requested image format:
        Depth: 8
        Alpha mask: 0x00000000
        Red   mask: 0x00000000
        Green mask: 0x00000000
        Blue  mask: 0x00000000
