I've tested new 1.6.4 Cairo on a Debian Etch system (by recompiling the 1.6.4-1
Debian Sid package), and tested it on my X11 terminal : it works, but I still
have a problem : all texts are painted with ugly colors (something like pink on
purple (see attachment), and it's unusable. As i know there is different kinds
of 8bits display, and that I tested this new Cairo version through Debian
packaging, I wonder if the problem comes from Cairo, Debian packaging, GTK2 or
something else. Is there something I can do to help to fix it ?
