Should this really have been closed? If it were open, I would have found this
bug much sooner while as it is, I spent quite some time trying to understand
why my attempts to use "cairo:monospace" in a small test didn't work. It would
be also great to avoid explicitly saying that it works in the documentation
when it's not implemented for the same reasons.
