The zeroth step in the approval process is for us to have confidence in the code you write before granting you commit access. So far the patches I have seen
have indeed addressed real issues, but I didn't think were of suitable quality to apply to Cairo. Please do keep sending the patches to the mailing list for
the time being, thanks.
