Bug ID: 94659
Summary: excessive rasterisation of some PDFs
Product: cairo
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: win32 backend
Assignee: cairo-bugs at cairographics.org
Reporter: ossman at cendio.se
QA Contact: cairo-bugs at cairographics.org
We're switching over from SumatraPDF to Poppler/Cairo as the software to handle
PDF printing on Windows. Unfortunately we are seeing some regressions in that
some documents are getting rasterised rather than being sent to the printer in
a vector format.
Two examples:

http://www.princexml.com/samples/invoice/invoicesample.pdf
Taken from:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Evince/Testing

The problem seems to be specific to the Win32 backend as pdftocairo with the
SVG backend works fine.
