Thanks for the reminder.

Your email included a statement that "Verano Inc. owns copyright
content of...all attachments", that any republication "without the
prior written permission of Verano Inc....constitutes copyright
infringement", and that "any infringement of Verano Inc. rights will
result in appropriate legal action."

It's not clear to me that I have prior written permission of
Verano Inc. to republish your patch as part of Cairo. Not wanting to
find out what legal action might be considered appropriate, I've
decided to not read the attachment.

I'll see if I can't find a way to add the missing extern C stuff to
cairo-xlib.h on my own.
