The API has changed a few times for this function, most recently with 0.4.1.  FYI, the
current API is

void poppler_page_render_to_pixbuf (
       PopplerPage        *page,
       int                 src_x,
       int                 src_y,
       int                 src_width,
       int                 src_height,
       double              scale,
       int                 rotation,
       GdkPixbuf          *pixbuf);

Perhaps someone should add a check for poppler >= 0.4.1.
