I updated it to include <cairo-xlib.h> as now required, and I added a
simple README file.

This looks like just the thing to get a QT programmer started.

PS. It is kind of embarrassing to see the lame graphics from
cairo-demo getting propagated around. People have drawn much more
interesting things since my original feeble efforts. Cleaning up the
state of the demo code is something on my list, (along with
documentation in general). But if anyone is willing to contribute to
that effort at any point, it would be most appreciated.
