Fast rendering in acrobat reader and other pdf viewers is one thing,
when doing a slideshow presentation with one of those in fullscreen
mode, waiting for the scene to assemble from triangles, feels wrong,
even if it might be correct for a rendering to a given tolerance.

I generated both a downloadable version of a folder for screen
viewing, and one for an offset press of the same booklet once, the
downloadable/screen version was 600kb, while the one sent to printing
was 4-5mb. (the print one contained color profiles, fully embedded
fonts,. and some other things).
