[cairo] cairo and svg ..

 Hi,

  I seem to remember that libsvg was supposed to advance once cairo got underway,
 and I am a bit curious if/when there is a possibility of it advancing ?
  I am doing some work which would really benefit from svg definitions of the
 graphics used, so that's the reason for my curiosity.

  I might as well ask if libsvg is usable in it's current form for a 'real world'
 project or if it would be better to go with bitmaps for the moment ?
