[cairo] cairo xgl backend ?

Hello all,

    I know David is working on the glitz backend for cairo
and the other side he works on the Xgl xserver.

    In the case of Xgl, glitz is server side being the XRENDER
extension for Xgl so the question is : is it planned to have a
XRENDER backend for cairo to be able to use cairo with Xgl ?
