[cairo] Maintaining cairo with git

I'm getting the following error while trying to clone the new git
repository...  Any ideas?  Is the repository up and running?

jonas at guru:~/git/cairo$ cg-fetch
Recovering from a previously interrupted initial clone...
Fetching pack (head and objects)...
fatal: unexpected EOF
cg-fetch: fetching pack failed

jonas at guru:~/git/cairo$ cat .git/branches/origin
git://git.cairographics.org/cairo

I'm using git 1.1.6, not 1.2 as suggested, in case it makes a difference...
