[cairo] Re: Using push/pop_group and cairo_mask for a fading effect

Hi all,

The suggestion made by behdad seems quite nice, unfortunately in my case it
won't work,
actually MSN users like to put smileys in the nickname / personal message.
So I have to
use the mask with push/pop_group.

Concerning the Tips & Tricks wiki section, I think that this would
definitely rock, and help
newbie to cairo (like me) learn how to use it faster.
