[behdad at home pango]$ python
import Python 2.4.3 (#1, Oct 23 2006, 14:19:47)
[GCC 4.1.1 20060525 (Red Hat 4.1.1-1)] on linux2

Help on class Surface in module cairo:

class Surface(__builtin__.object)
 |  Methods defined here:
 |  create_similar(...)

It takes the same args as the C API: content, width, height. Use
cairo.CONTENT_COLOR_ALPHA for content.
