[cairo] freetype font rendering difference between cairo 1.4 and 1.5 [solved]

My mistake, thanks for correcting.

I was also wrong about the subject, it should rather be "...difference 
between Ubuntu cairo 1.4 and upstream cairo 1.5". Ubuntu is patching 
cairo to enable lcd-filtering (02-cairo-1.4.8-lcd-filter-2.dpatch), and 
this is what makes subpixel antialiasing look different.

My opinion is that the rendering is much better with this patch enabled. 
    So I'm wondering about the status of the related bug [1]. Is there 
chances it will be integrated? what can be done to help?
