[cairo] Solaris and Xrender.h

I'm trying to build Cairo (tried 1.2 and 1.4 versions) against a
Solaris 8 box.  I haven't downloaded 1.6 yet, but it should be
irrelevant to the question.

Is Xrender.h needed in order to compile?  I can't find it on the
system in /usr/openwin or anywhere else.  If so, is there a Solaris
package I'm missing, or do I just need to download and build it.  The
configure completes, and recognizes it can't find it yet it still
tries to build against it and ultimately fails because of it.
