[cairo] Anti-grain backend?

Hi,

I remember reading about an Anti-grain back-end for Cairo a while back.
Does anyone know what the status of this is and where I can get it?
Google didn't turn up too much useful info on this. If it exists I would
like to benchmark it to see if it works better than the image surface
backend.
