Are you sure?

I sat down to once-and-for-all apply that patch recently, but it
doesn't apply cleanly anymore. And when I looked into that, it looks
like the issue has since been fixed, (though perhaps in a slightly
different way).

Can you look again to see if my analysis was incorrect?
