Hello!

Just a quick update on my progress on improving the XCB backend.
The past few weeks I've spent mostly making minor improvements and
generally getting acquainted with the XCB and Xlib backends.
Starting this week I have started integrating improvements from the
Xlib backend, specifically the font rendering changes.
