[cairo] Quartz backend fix

Right now it's faring quite bad on Leopard, but many failures seems to
be caused by fonts.
I'll try to figure out why they render differently as they also make
the image backend fail.
Right now I have 52 failures in the image backend and 170 in quartz.
I hope to see both decrease soon.
