Hi,
I'm puzzled by an issue I'm facing trying to display a gmathml
(http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~emmanuel/gmathml/) equation in a goffice
chart (http://freshmeat.net/projects/goffice/). Both libraries have
their own code that handles text output. But for the same font, with the
same size, the rendered texts show different sizes depending on the
library. Here's a screenshot that show an sample output:

The '10' at the bottom, rendered by gmathml, is bigger than the '10' on
the axes rendered by goffice. Both libraries use the same cairo context.
In the terminal window, you can see the cairo and font matrices, which
are the same.
Is there another matrix or scale factor involved in the text rendering
when using pango_cairo_show_layout ?
Emmanuel.
