Now all that's missing is the long description for your commit message.

Your patch already has a one-line summary (in the subject line) but it
also needs a paragraph of explanation which can appear in the email
before the "---" line.

PS. If I committed your email with the standard tool, ("git am"), the
long description would have been "OK, now I've got this". To avoid
something undesired like that, just put explanatory text like that
*after* the "---" line in the email.
