Unfortunately, mapping from spot colors to sRGB is not unique.
However... if IP is a concern, I'd strongly suggest dropping into #scribus on irc.freenode.net. They are making amazing progress with the rest of the print industry, and even have some major meetings set to take place this week. Look for christoph_s
