[cairo] is self-copy supposed to work?

Can you look at the pixman patch Matt Woodrow attached in
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=563488 ? It supports the
general self-copy case using a temporary buffer and optimizes simple SOURCE
self-copy cases. Needs no new API.
