[cairo] Freetype+Python code snippet crashes cairo 1.10.0

Hi everybody,

there is this code snipped on the cairo homepage for loading freetype fonts 
from Python code:

http://cairographics.org/freetypepython/

This code worked flawlessly on my system (Gentoo Linux) until cairo 1.8.8. Then 
there was an update to cairo 1.10.0 and this code now crashes cairo with a 
segmentation fault in the call to cairo_set_font_face (the line before the 
laslt error check). Reverting back to cairo 1.8.8 resolves that issue.

Can anyone else reproduce this crash?
