I too am interested in this fix. In my applications (under window) I've
noticed clipping errors to occur sometimes when parts on a window got
unobscured. More recently I run into a weird case where I had a recangular
cliparea on a surface and when drawing a circle into this area the circle
would not become visible until I first drew a non-zero sized recangle
somewhere. It looked as if the clip was wrong and drawing a rectangle
corrected the clip.
