[cairo] how can I add meta data to image using cairo in C

Hello,

I want to add meta data or exif information to an image using cairo. is it
possible?
For example, if you create an image using gimp it adds a comment "Created
using Gimp".  I want to add something like that too.
How can I achieve it?
