[cairo] font kerning at cairo

Hello, cairo mailing-list member,

I am new in cairo graphics.
Now I need the function of font kerning that is not supported in cairo.

I found that pangocairo library can be used to support the font kerning.
But the pangocairo requires Cocoa module which was developed with Objective-C.
My problem is that only C language is supported In my compiler
environment. So, I cannot use the pangocairo now.

My question is,

Is there any other method that I can use font kerning in cairo?
