Hi Soyeon,

I'm not a Cairo manager, but I will try to explain about Cairo:

Cairo is a 2D graphics library.
It has many APIs to draw 2D images.
It can output to many backends (devices):
normal images (.png, .jpg etc.), PDF, OpenGL etc.
