Wait... just switching from Ubuntu 13.04 to Ubuntu 14.04 causes 1.1k new test
suite failures?!

The "surface-pattern" test already fails for me with cairo-xcb for master from
April 17th and thus this isn't a new failure here and I got nothing to investigate.

And *boum*, my motivation is gone again. :(
