[cairo] Path reuse and Perspective Transformations ?

I'm interested in re-use as I'm starting to look at moving shoebot (an app like processing.org) to a scenegraph.

I'm looking at adding a cache to the scenegraph, so if the same path was drawn for a few frames, then cache it for re-use in following frames.
