[cairo] Museo Sans not printing in Cairo Pdf

Dear Sir/Madam,I am experiencing an issue with Cairo in R studio. Even though I am sharing the same code as the rest of my company members and have gone through these steps multiple times: http://blog.revolutionanalytics.com/2012/09/how-to-use-your-favorite-fonts-in-r-charts.html, when I print a pdf even though the plot on my screen appears in Museo Sans, it does not do so in the pdf. I am sure the font exists in my computer. 
Please advise me what might be the issue.
