If you are on Linux, you can look in /usr/share/fonts to see what kind of fonts that you have. That way you can pick out a specific font to test and use. If cairo is using freetype for the font engine there is an example of getting a specific font from freetype to use with cairo at<br>

Then you can use the "toy api" as usual.<br>
