[Xr] Problems compiling libic with old X servers

A couple of people have pointed out problems compiling libic with an
old X installation. This is a bug and will be fixed eventually.

One workaround is to upgrade to XFree86 4.3.0.

who are anxious to play with Xr but hesitant to upgrade their whole X
