Indeed. It's kind of frightening to see my code get copied around like
this since I know basically nothing about how to use Gtk+.

You mentioned some differences in how Gtk+ was used in the two
examples. None of it meant anything to me, but if the code in CVS is
stale or broken in any way, let me know so we can fix it.

Ah, I missed this. Yes, code sharing is a good thing of course. Feel
free to commit the library as a new top-level module if you'd like.
