[cairo] glitz development no more in cairo CVS tree ?!

hello,

looking at cairo CVS glitz module :

i can see that latest commit was 5 weeks ago

but on the net, i have found 2 tarballs of glitz snapshots on this
site :

http://www.freedesktop.org/~davidr/pkg/glitz-0.4.5-050801.tar.gz
http://www.freedesktop.org/~davidr/pkg/glitz-0.4.4-050727.tar.gz

Some code has been updated, even if NEWS and Changelog files were not.

So, is glitz development happening somewhere else ? (in another CVS or
SVN tree at Novell perhaps)

Couldn't those snapshots be copied to the usual "snapshot" page :
http://cairographics.org/snapshots/ (latest glitz there was 0.4.3) or
are those 2 newer snapshots considered too experimental ?
