This morning I posted a question about issues I was having getting a  
little png graphic to show up in my windows. I'm using the xlib  
interface on OSX on a G4 Powerbook. Still waiting for that to make it  
past the moderator because I attached two moderate sized screen grabs  
to it (sorry).

I've made some progress on the issue. It would seem that as long as I  
translate by a rounded value, it will show up all right. I.e, if I  
translate by (112.3, 410.87), I'll get the garbled stuff. But if I  
translate by (112.0, 411.0), all is well. Also noted that if I change  
scale to anything but 1.0, it is also garbled. The garbling is  
appropriately scaled in size, but is garbled nevertheless.

The graphic attached is what I was trying to achieve. So I've got a  
workaround for now (though it would be nice to "scale" the bullets,  
but that's minor).
