[cairo] pango + cairo userfont

So, Pango?can be used to select any system font / language and render to a Cairo?ARGB surface, no need for FontConfig and FreeType?? If so, then what is the advantage of using FontConfig / FreeType?

Can one create and install their own FreeType fonts?? Is this considered a?'userfont'?
