[cairo] colour management

Hello,

would a Google SoC project for colour management in Cairo find its place 
in your plans? Having someone doing work in this direction would create a 
much welcome move for some users of Cairo.

So as soon as someone mentors from the Cairo project, I would offer to 
help on the colour management side. 
Even if many pices of the whole colour management puzzle are not finished, 
it is probably good to start sorting them.


Tasks could be
* clearify and decide about concepts
* pass though of profiles to backends
* opt in/out for colour matching
and hopefully
* higher bit depths
* n-channel support

I wish these make already sense.
