Thanks for testing the patch. I should have verified that pixman git works
with all the gcc versions I have, so this issue would not have been introduced
in the first place. It is probably unavoidable that most people are more
likely to try new versions of software only when these versions are labeled as
the official stable releases :)

I wonder if it makes sense to make a point release soon or wait a bit for
more complains (if any) from the users of less common platforms, compilers
and system configurations.
