Incorrect final CRC *is* the further problem. It makes little sense to even
try doing any kind of testing which involves real applications. Are you still
working on looking for a solution to fix this bug?

As I mentioned before, it is always possible to temporarily disable the
problematic parts or revert back to Ian's blitters for the time being.

Still, something else is also broken even if these two functions are disabled. 
Because I also see "glibc: detected double free" and random crashes in X
reported earlier by Koen unless NEON optimizations are completely turned off.
