I feel obliged to point out that an ARM920T won't be able to take advantage
of either the NEON or ARM-SIMD kernels in Pixman - it's a v5 chip, so it's
like asking a classic Pentium to understand SSE.

Nevertheless, there are other reasons to keep up-to-date, and no reasons not
to.  Doubtless the rasteriser in Cairo has seen some broadly-applicable
improvements.
